How to make Chicken Curry :

1. First of all, warm the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large skillet or Dutch oven. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the onion has softened.

    2. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring in the minced garlic and grated ginger, until fragrant.

    3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.

    4. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and paprika to the skillet once the chicken is browned. Stir well to combine and cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the spices to toast and the flavors to meld together.

    5. So, pour in the coconut milk and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then turn the heat down and cover. Let the curry simmer gently for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

    6. When the chicken is cooked, season the curry with salt and pepper to taste. Furthermore, if you prefer a thicker sauce, you can simmer the curry uncovered for an additional 5–10 minutes to reduce and thicken.

    7. Finally, serve the chicken curry hot, garnished with fresh cilantro leaves. Finally, enjoy it with cooked rice or warm naan bread for a complete and satisfying meal.

    Pro Tips:

    • For extra depth of flavor, marinate the chicken in yogurt and spices for at least 30 minutes before cooking.

    • Don’t skip toasting the spices in the skillet before adding the liquid ingredients. This helps to release their essential oils and enhances the overall flavor of the curry.

    • Also, adjust the spice level to your preference by increasing or decreasing the amount of curry powder and paprika.

    • Even more, leftover chicken curry can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
